

Both Fuji and Canon have recently registered new camera models in Asia. On July 1st, Canon officially registered a new camera model identified as DS126965, which is equipped with dual-band Wi-Fi capabilities. This latest addition brings the total number of Canon camera registrations for the fiscal year 2026 to three, including models DS126947, DS126973, and DS126965, none of which currently match any existing models:


Fuji, on the other hand, has two cameras that have been registered but not yet announced:
- Fujifilm FF260001 was registered on April 7, 2026, and features the advanced X-Processor 6 APS-C interface, along with tri-band Wi-Fi 6, and a high-performance CMOS Image Sensor.
- Fujifilm FF260002 got its registration on July 3, 2026, also equipped with the X-Processor 6 interface, tri-band Wi-Fi 6, and a CMOS Image Sensor, hinting it might be the upcoming X.
