This update allows Android phones using the Blackmagic Camera app to be more effectively used in challenging production settings. Whether cameras are positioned in hard-to-reach areas or operators need to manage recordings remotely, the 4K HDMI output with audio enables connections to external displays, switchers, or recorders, maintaining high-quality image feeds.
With camera control compatibility for WearOS, users can easily manage recording from a smartwatch when the phone is set in inaccessible places like rigs, vehicles, or gimbals.
