New camera models have been registered by both Canon and Fuji in the Asian market. Canon’s latest registration, the DS126965, was filed on July 1st and includes dual-band Wi-Fi capability. This addition marks the third new camera registration for Canon in the fiscal year 2026, following the DS126947 and DS126973 models, which do not correspond to any existing cameras:
Currently, Fuji has two cameras that have been registered but not yet announced:
- Fujifilm FF260001 was registered on April 7, 2026. It offers the X-Processor 6 APS-C interface, tri-band Wi-Fi 6, and a CMOS Image Sensor.
- Fujifilm FF260002 was registered on July 3, 2026. It also features the X-Processor 6 interface, tri-band Wi-Fi 6, and a CMOS Image Sensor, and is likely to be the 6:
